Four lions have been spotted roaming the Makhushane and Mabikiri areas outside Phalaborwa in Limpopo.
In a statement, the Ba-Phalaborwa Municipal authorities are warning the community members and livestock farmers to be cautious.
It’s not clear where the lions have escaped from as there are game parks as well as the Kruger National Park (KNP) in the vicinity.
The municipality says government rangers have been notified.
