Rugby Union – Second Test – South Africa v British and Irish Lions – Cape Town Stadium, Cape Town, South Africa – July 31, 2021 British and Irish Lions’ Alun Wyn Jones and Rory Sutherland look dejected after the match.
The British and Irish Lions have maintained their unbeaten record on their tour of Australia. They recorded their 4th successive win, beating the Australian team, ACT Brumbies 36-24 in Canberra, Australia.
The Lions outscored their hosts by five tries to four, but Australia’s most successful Super Rugby franchise provided a real test for the men from the British Isles.
It was the touring team’s last midweek match before the first test against Australia in Brisbane on the 19th of this month.
But first they play a combined Australia and New Zealand Fifteen in Adelaide this coming Saturday.
