Sixteen-year-old Tsakani Andries from Tzaneen, Limpopo, has been crowned International Teen Supermodel South Africa at a pageant held in Johannesburg. The title gives her the opportunity to represent South Africa at the global competition in the United States in 2025.

Andries is passionate about promoting equal access to opportunities for young girls, with a particular focus on education. She aims to inspire her peers to overcome limitations and embrace their potential.

“I believe young people, especially girls, often set boundaries in their minds about what they can and cannot achieve. I want to break that mindset,” Andries said. “This is why I advocate for empowering girls at a young age, providing them with essentials like school stationery and the tools they need to succeed.”

She hopes to use her platform to promote education and empowerment for teenagers, encouraging them to pursue their dreams and take charge of their futures.
