Accused in pig farm murder
The double murder trial against Limpopo pig farmer has been postponed to January next year in the High Court in Polokwane.
One of the defense lawyers Advocate Jacobus Venter has concluded cross-examining state witness, Rudolph de Wet.
Zacharia Olivier and William Musora are being tried for the murders of two women, Maria Makgato and Kudzai Ndlovu, including the attempted murder of Mabutho Ncube.
The victims were shot at a dumping site at Onverwacht Farm outside Polokwane in August last year. Judge Jane Ngobeni has remanded the accused in custody.
“Can we just rise Mr. Olivier and Mr. Musora the case against both of you is postponed to the 26 of January 2026, we have booked until the 28th of January for hearing. You are both still remanded in custody. Mr. De Wet you must be back on the 26 of January 2026. We’ll start at 10 o’clock around 09h30 just make sure you are around,” says Judge Ngobeni.
