Limpopo court postpones fraud case against comedian Madadzhe to Feb

The Thohoyandou High Court in Limpopo has postponed the case of fraud against social media influencer and comedian, Livhuwani Madadzhe to the 13th of February.

The case was postponed pending the outcome of Madadzhe’s application to the Constitutional Court, where he is challenging Judge Thongomelani Tshidada’s decision to revoke his bail.

Madadzhe is facing a separate trial for allegedly killing his partner, Lindelani Nengovhela three years ago.

Judge Tshidada says the fraud case will resume once the Constitutional Court has ruled on the bail matter.

“We will leave it at that, and respect your election, that you seek to pursue your constitutional application, Constitutional Court application at this point in time, and hoping that by the 13th of February, you would have received an outcome from that court.”
