Limpopo Artist Movement disappointed after Shebe’s case was postponed

The Limpopo Artists Movement has expressed disappointment over the postponement of the case of lekompo musician, Lehlohonolo Chauke, popularly known as Shebe Maburna.

Shebe Maburna’s case has been postponed to next Friday at the Polokwane magistrate’s court, Limpopo.

The case has been postponed for profiling and further investigations.

Shebe has been charged with attempted murder, malicious damage to property, and unlawful possession of a firearm.

He is held on remand.

Limpopo Artist Movement’s Mphoza Mashabela says they are disappointed that he will not be able to perform at several events he’s booked for this coming weekend.

“We are just slightly disappointed with the bail application, which will take place next Friday. We are talking about an artist he have gigs this weekend, so we are just slightly disappointed. We hope that next week the court will finalize that outstanding case from Lebowakomo and will grant him bail.  We are approaching the festive season. We do have quite a number of events in the province.”
