The case of the 39-year-old suspect arrested in connection with the murder of Likhona Fose, has been postponed to June 18 in the Roodepoort Magistrate’s Court in Johannesburg.

Mduduzi Mnisi is facing a murder charge after the 14-year-old girl’s mutilated body was discovered in bushes in Durban Deep.

Fose had disappeared while playing with friends not far from her home in Braamfisherville last month.

Community leader, Sarafina Madimabe says, “I feel very bad because I am a mother and you know when some does this to your child, you can’t even eat and sleep, you just look like a cabbage because there is nothing you can do.”

Madimabe adds, “When someone says to you someone found your child in the field, you say ‘maybe it’s not my child. I want justice, even the court can do the death sentence for that person because he must have the pain that the child has.”
