The South African Weather Services (SAWS) has issued a Yellow Level two warning for severe thunderstorms over the Little Karoo regions, with possible flooding.
SAWS says a cut off low pressure system is expected to move into the area on Sunday and Monday.
It says slow moving storms may cause heavy downpours which can lead to localised flooding and strong winds.

Meanwhile, in KwaZulu-Natal, residents in Inanda, north of Durban, say they’ve been left to fend for themselves after heavy rains displaced dozens of families on Friday night.
Nearly 10 homes remain underwater and many residents are still trying to salvage what they can.
Community members say they have repeatedly asked local authorities to replace a nearby bridge, warning that it worsens flooding in the area.
Local Fikelephi Mahlangu says they have lost everything including their identity documents.
“We have an issue of water that floods our homes. A bridge was built but it has small pipes, we would have wanted them to fix the pipes. This issue has been ongoing for years. We are left with nothing but the clothes on our backs. I was awoken by my child who saw the water that had flooded our house and left the house immediately,” says Mahlangu.
