Lesufi sends his best wishes to matric class of 2025 ahead of exams


Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi has sent his best wishes to the Class of 2025 ahead of their first National Senior Certificate (NSC) examinations, which kicks off on Tuesday.  A total of 188 000 candidates have registered to write the exams across the province, taking place at just over 1 000 centers, comprising public, independent, and designated venues.

Gauteng government spokesperson Elijah Mhlanga has appealed to everyone to play their part in ensuring a smooth examination period.

“We appeal to all citizens of Gauteng to please rally behind our candidates who will be sitting for their final exam, which is an important time in their schooling journey. We appeal to everyone to please create a conducive environment for them to prepare and write the exams.”
