Lesufi releases MEC performance agreements to public

Gauteng Premier, Panyaza Lesufi, has released the performance agreements for all Members of the Executive Council (MECs) for the province to the public.

His office says this move is part of the Government of Provincial Unity (GPU)’s commitment to building a capable, ethical and developmental state that answers directly to the people.

By making these agreements public, the provincial government aims to ensure accountability and drive progress towards key priorities, including inclusive growth, poverty reduction and addressing pressing issues like water security, crime and electricity stability.

“The premier has now made it possible for all members of the society to be able to see the agreements that he entered to with the MECs that have been appointed to the various portfolios in the Gauteng province,” says Gauteng Provincial Government spokesperson Elijah Mhlanga.
