The Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development Mmamoloko Kubayi
The Advisory Panel for the selection of the National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP), chaired by the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, Mmamoloko Kubayi, will begin its interviews in Pretoria on Wednesday.
This as Adv. Shamila Batohi is set to vacate the post in January 2026.
A total of six shortlisted candidates who met the minimum requirements will sit for interviews over the next two days.
These candidates include the former National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP), Adv. Menzi Simelane, former inaugural Investigating Directorate (IDAC) Head, Adv. Hermione Cronje and current IDAC Head, Adv. Andrea Johnson.
