Nineteen-year-old Kamogelo Baukudi, who was kidnapped in Bloemfontein earlier this month, has been found alive in Wepener in the Free State.
The Grade 11 learner from Martie du Plessis special school was kidnapped on the 5th of June while being driven home from school in Bloemfontein.
Police spokesperson Motantsi Makhele says after intensive investigation, Baukudi was safely located and rescued in Wepener in the early hours of Friday. Five men aged between 20 and 29 have been arrested. This brings the total number of arrests in the case to six. They will appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court on Monday.”
