Journalist Sibusiso Ndlovu to be laid to rest in Kwamhlanga

The family of slain journalist Sibusiso ‘Aserie’ Ndlovu says the discovery of his remains has brought them closure. Ndlovu’s funeral is underway in Mahlabathini, Mpumalanga.

Ndlovu and his partner Zodwa Mdhluli were reported missing in February this year. However, their remains were discovered in bushes in Rust de Winter in Limpopo last month.

Mdluli was laid to rest in Masoyi, Mpumalanga, on Friday.

Ndlovu’s brother Elvis says he will remember his brother as a hard worker and a loving person.

” We will miss him dearly, I have learnt a lot from him, especially on how he works and how he loves people – it has touched me as well and I wish to walk in his footsteps.”

Heartfelt tributes were offered at a joint memorial service on Friday for Ndlovu and his partner at the GCIS Auditorium in Pretoria.
