IPHC congregants outside court in support of leader Sandlana

Hundreds of International Pentecostal Holiness Church (IPHC) congregants have gathered outside the Specialised Commercial Crimes Court in Pretoria as their leader, Michael Sandlana makes his second appearance.

Sandlana faces 19 counts of corruption and money-laundering alongside his spokesperson, Vusi Ndala, Pretoria High Court Judge, Portia Phahlane and her son Kagiso.

It is alleged that Sandlana paid approximately R2 million to Phahlane to secure a favorable judgment in a case involving the church’s leadership succession battle.

The church’s spokesperson, Mighty Mabule says they are in court to support their father who works very hard to improve the lives of people.

“We are here as members of IPC to support our father, who is working very hard to improve the lives of the people, both the church members South African community at large. So, we are here to show that support we just want to humbly say to the authorities that let justice prevail, we are just waiting for the whole process to be completed.”
