Increasing stock theft a challenge in Mpumalanga

Acting Mpumalanga Police Commissioner Zeph Mkhwanazi has encouraged farmers to take stock of their animals.

This as the province’s Verena area sees an alarming increase in incidents of stock theft.

Mkhwanazi says farmers must also play their part in the fight against the crime by not employing undocumented migrants.

He says they have found that some workers steal from their employers when there’s a labour dispute.
