IFP condemns death threats directed at KZN Premier Ntuli

The IFP in KwaZulu-Natal has in a statement condemned what it calls vile and dangerous death threats directed at the province’s Premier, Thami Ntuli.

It says the threats are circulating openly on social media and explicitly calling for the Premier’s death.

The party says the threats are criminal in nature.

The IFP says it is deeply concerning that the threats have emerged at a time when the province’s coalition government is receiving widespread praise across South Africa, following the achievement of first place nationally in the matric results.
