The National Prosecuting Authority of South Africa (NPA)’s Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC) has once again dismissed reports claiming that a warrant of arrest has been issued for National Police Commissioner, General Fannie Masemola, and others.
Directorate spokesperson Henry Mamothame says they continue to receive media queries on the matter, which they maintain are based on unfounded allegations.
“And we have also taken note of the numerous false articles that have been published on these allegations. IDAC maintains what it has repeatedly confirmed to the media, that no such warrants have been issued for the arrest of General [Masemola] and others.”
