Hundreds of rugby supporters have shown up to join Springbok coach, Rassie Erasmus, at his annual Christmas Walk on Thursday morning. Rugby supporters from all walks of life have joined in on the walk between Bloubergstrand and Table View in Cape Town.
The Boks coach set the six-kilometer walk as a way of celebrating South Africans and rugby lovers for their support for the team over the past year.
Western Cape National icon and multi-Rugby World Cup-winning Coach, Rassie Erasmus, is set to continue what is a new Christmas tradition he started last year, when he walks with Cape Town’s Springbok fans to thank them for their support#MoringLive #SABCNews

“I am a rugby hooligan and an avid Bok supporter and it is such an awesome vibe to be here. there are hundreds of people. Christmas spirit ,it is awesome and I actually got a picture with Rassie so I am happy my day is made.”
A second supporter it is quite a privilege that Rassie lives in their area. “I think it is wonderful that the community has come out to support him and he seems as genuine in real life as he is on tv so that’s absolutely great.
