Disaster management teams in KwaZulu-Natal are on high alert following a level two weather warning issued by the South African Weather Service (SAWS).
The warning forecasts severe thunderstorms over the southern parts of the province for this weekend.
The storms may bring large amounts of small hail, damaging winds, excessive lightning, and heavy downpours, potentially leading to localised impacts.
