Outside the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria.
Police lead investigator Brigadier Bongani Gininda is expected back on the witness stand when the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial resumes at the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria this morning.
Yesterday, Gininda testified that video footage of Longwe Twala, a day after Senzo Meyiwa was murdered, does not show any signs he was injured by a bullet.
Meyiwa was shot and killed at the parental home of his former girlfriend, Kelly Khumalo, in Vosloorus on Gauteng’s East Rand in 2014.
Longwe Twala, the son of legendary music producer Chicco Twala, is said to have been one of the people present inside the Khumalo home when two intruders allegedly entered.
According to the late defense counsel Thulani Mngomezulu, Twala allegedly fired three shots during a scuffle with Meyiwa.
One of the shots is alleged to have hit his ankle.
However, Gininda says there is no evidence that Twala was injured as alleged.
