Former Durban City Football head Coach Gavin Hunt.
Coach Gavin Hunt has been left out in the cold as Durban City terminated his contract just five months into his tenure.
Hunt took over the reins from Simo Dladla after the club’s promotion to top-flight football at the beginning of the current campaign.
The former SuperSport United coach leaves Durban City with 19 points, seventh on the Betway Premiership table after registering five wins and four draws, losing five of their opening 15 league matches.
In their last match under the guidance of Hunt, City lost by two unanswered goals against the high-flying Orlando Pirates in Durban on Saturday.
Durban City has announced that assistant coach Pitso Dladla will be at the helm of the team for their upcoming match against Orbit College on Wednesday.
