Law enforcement officials have rescued 15 people from a house in Sandringham, northern Johannesburg.
Authorities responded to a tip-off from neighbours about suspicious activities at the residence.
Upon arrival, authorities found 15 naked individuals, suspected to be Ethiopian nationals held captive inside the house.
Another 11 people have been taken to hospital for medical treatment.
This was a joint operation between the South African Police Service (SAPS), Gauteng Hawks, JMPD and private security.
Three suspects have been arrested for their alleged involvement in human trafficking and illegal possession of a firearm.
