Police are searching for suspects in the murders of three youngsters in Tshepisong in western Johannesburg. Their battered bodies were found in the veld in the area yesterday.
Police are also searching for a fourth person who survived the attack.
Some residents of the area have told SABC News that the deceased could be victims of an ongoing turf war between criminal gangs.
Gauteng police spokesperson Tintswalo Sibeko says, “The victims, all in their early 20s were found deceased at the scene. A fourth person believed to have survived the attack is currently at large.
The motive behind the attack is currently unknown. Police investigations are under way and no arrest has been made yet.
