The department’s Motalatale Modiba says at Helen Joseph hospital they have decided to prioritize emergency medical surgeries due to the water situation.
“At Hillbrow CHC they are currently affected as well, they are using a Jojo tank. They are relying on the municipality to provide them with water. It is affecting the smooth running, but they are rendering services. We just want to continue appealing with the public to cooperate. There might be inconvenience here and there but we are doing everything possible to sustain services.”
