Several people are feared trapped under concrete after a four-storey temple collapsed at River Range Ranch (RRR) in Redcliffe, Verulam, north of Durban.
Emergency services are currently on the scene.
According to a private security and emergency services company, those trapped are communicating via voice notes from under the collapsed structure.
Preliminary reports from disaster management teams indicate that the four-storey building was still under construction when it collapsed.
No information on possible casualties has been confirmed yet.
