Former MKP organiser slams party leadership as ‘disorganised’

Former uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party national organiser McDonald Mathabe has slammed the party’s leadership, calling it disorganised and ineffective.

He has also alleged that there’s nepotism in the party, claiming that the leader Jacob Zuma alone makes key appointments. His remarks come as internal tensions within the party continue to grow.

Mathabe says the party operates like a dynasty. “People who were nominated through the structures of the party to be in parliament were disregarded. This is the reason why we were actually removed, because we were saying we must speak to party structures and speak to process and procedure.”
