More than 200 FlySafair pilots are set to embark on a two-week strike starting from Monday. Trade union Solidarity says this comes after the employer was given a notice to strike following a deadlock in wage negotiations.
The union has rejected the airline’s 5.7% proposed salary increase. It’s demanding 10.5% for the next financial year.
