Five men have been killed in a hail of bullets and set alight in Philippi East on the Cape Flats in Cape Town.
Western Cape Police Spokesperson Novela Potelwa says reports from the scene indicate the victims were sitting in a vehicle in the Better Life area when four armed suspects approached and shot them last night.
Potelwa says the deceased victim’s identities are yet to be determined but their estimated ages are between 20 and 30.
She says the police are still investigating the motive behind the killing.
