The case against five people linked to the Bekkersdal December mass killing is expected to continue in the Westonaria Magistrate’s Court on Monday, pending the outcome of an identity parade.
The incident claimed the lives of ten people at KwaNoxolo tavern.
Nine died on the scene, while the 10th victim died later in hospital.
The accused face charges of being in possession of unlicensed firearms, live ammunition and violating the Immigration Act.

Last week, all the accused abandoned their bail application, fearing for their safety.
The five suspects confirmed that they are from Lesotho and do not have passports.
One of the five suspects was previously convicted of murder.
Meanwhile, the owner of KwaNoxoli tavern was granted R1500 bail. The 47-year-old faces a charge of operating with a fraudulent liquor licence.
Court proceedings will continue under strict regulations as the media is still not allowed to film any court proceedings, and the usage of phones is strictly prohibited.
