Scene of the N2 accident on KZN
Five people have been killed in a collision between a truck and light motor vehicle on the N2 in Amatikulu, on the KwaZulu-Natal North Coast.
The deceased are reported to have been in the same vehicle.
Paramedics are still at the scene of the crash. The cause of the crash is yet to be established.
“IPSS Medical Rescue and IPSS Search and Rescue are currently on scene. This is an active scene, and we urge motorists to travel with caution,” says IPSS Medical Rescue’s Spokesperson, Samantha Meyrick.
The van was transporting eleven awaiting trial prisoners from Mokopane to Mookgophong to court when the crash happened.
