SANDF soldiers disembarking from the plane at Waterkloof Air Force Base
The first group of SANDF troops have arrived home from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) peacekeeping mission.
They touched down at the Waterkloof Air Force Base a short while ago.
The SANDF lost 14 soldiers during the deployment as M23 rebels advanced on the city of Goma in the eastern DRC.
Ther bodies of the 14 South Africans were repatriated to South Africa earlier this year.
About 250 soldiers will be welcomed by Defence Minister Angie Motshekga.
