The distraught family of a 25-year-old Kimberley shepherd, who was brutally killed in what is believed to be one of the increasing cases of stock theft in the Northern Cape, has called on the police to arrest his killers.

Amogelang Abrahams was found by community members with his hands and feet tied up at a veld near his home two days after he disappeared. The goats he was looking after were stolen.

Iris Ngoma, Amogelang’s aunt says, “I am feeling sad. It’s my nephew and he was a breadwinner. Like I said, he was staying with his mother and my sister, so now I am heartbroken.”
