Slain cop Francis Rasuge
The family of slain cop Francis Rasuge says her killer does not deserve their forgiveness because he has shown no remorse.
Rasuge was murdered in 2004 by her then partner William Nkuna. Her remains were found buried at Nkuna’s home in Tshwane eight years after her death.
Nkuna is being considered for parole after serving 20 years of his life sentence.
Rasuge’s older sister, Rose Khutsoane says despite Nkuna opening up about how he killed the former police constable, he is still a danger to them and to society.
“He admitted that he killed her with his bare hands. He said he hit her against the walls until she couldn’t breathe then he left her in his house. He came back later to find her dead. He needs to stay in prison and he must die there. It will not be okay for us to see him. We don’t know who he will kill next. When I looked at him, I just saw the devil, even when he speaks he shows no mercy. He was even chewing gum during the meeting.”
