Banyana Banyana coach Dr Desiree Ellis has named her squad for two international friendly matches against Jamaica.

The matches against the Reggae Queens will be played on November 29 and December 2 in Montego Bay. This is part of the continuous preparations of the 2025 CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

Ellis named a youthful team for the upcoming assignments, with a number of players who made a name for themselves during the recent COSAFA Women’s Championships in Gqeberha.

There are notable absentees in the squad named by Ellis at the SABC’s Henley studios in Auckland Park, including forwards Thembi Kgatlana, Jermaine Seoposenwe and defender Bambanani Mbane.
