An Ekurhuleni Metropolitan police officer has died and four others have been injured after their vehicle overturned on the Makuya road outside Musina in Limpopo.
Three of the injured occupants were taken to the hospital. One officer sustained slight injuries and was treated at the scene.
The deceased officer has been identified as Thivhulawi Malala.
Transport authorities suspect negligent and reckless driving as a possible cause for the crash.
