Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema has vowed that the Phala Phala saga which involves foreign currency stolen in 2020 from a couch on a property belonging to President Cyril Ramaphosa will never die.

Malema’s comments come as the EFF will challenge parliament’s decision to forego an impeachment investigation into President Ramaphosa on Phala Phala at the Constitutional Court on Tuesday.

The party is also taking action against the National Assembly.

Malema says the EFF will never let the Phala Phala matter slide.

“We told you that Phala-Phala will never die. For as long as the EFF is in parliament which is where we are. And whether you like it or not, those who wish for the death of the EFF. SG even if the EFF was to die tomorrow, the branches don’t exist the regions have collapsed, provinces have collapsed, we’ve got 39 members of parliament for the next five years.”
