EFF leader Julius Malema meeting the AbaThembu King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo.
EFF leader, Julius Malema has condemned President Cyril Ramaphosa’s pending visit to the United States.
Ramaphosa will visit the US from Monday to Thursday, where he will hold talks on relations, among other things, with US President Donald Trump.
Malema says Pretoria and Washington will never co-exist due to different geo-political ideologies. He was addressing the media after meeting the AbaThembu King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo and asking for his blessings ahead of the EFF’s 12th Anniversary that will be held in Mthatha in the Eastern Cape.
“It’s a waste of time. If he wants them to start treating him differently and is going to beg them to attend the G20, he is going have to compromise some of the fundamental policies of this country, which we are not prepared (for). If he does that he must not come back. He must stay there with that 49 Afrikaaners. He must also stay there because he cannot compromise our sovereignty for political expedience,” says Malema.
King Dalindeybo has also expressed his disapproval about the president’s visit.
“Everytime our president goes to the west, we worry if is he not going to search for more instructions, new tactics and new orders of how to steal and corrupt our minds and our wealth and how to abuse our labour. So, I wish one day he should come up with roses, so that all we can be all (bright) because when he comes from there he looks brighter than before. We also want to look brighter and beautiful,” says the king.
