EFF concerned about safety of abducted Kamogelo Baukudi in Free State

The EFF in the Free State has called on Bloemfontein residents to continue supporting Kamogelo Baukudi‘s family as investigations into his alleged abduction continue.

The party’s provincial secretary, Bosanku Msimanga says they are concerned about the safety of the 19-year-old who has been missing for 19 days.

The grade 11 learner from Martie du Plessis Special School in Bloemfontein, was allegedly abducted on June 5 by two men who purported to be policemen when he was on his way home from school.

Msimanga attended court proceedings where the bail application of alleged abductor and police officer Nzima Adoons was postponed to Monday.

“What we worry about is his safety. What is he eating, what is he drinking, where is he? Other children were writing exams and now he missed his exams.”

Some residents of Bloemfontein have called for no bail against the 42-year-old accused. He made a brief appearance in an attempt to apply for bail in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court.
