Department spokesperson, Unathi Binqose says, “The volume of traffic in the Eastern Cape continues to be very high, particularly in those towns like Komani, the R61 from the Western Cape and the N6 from Northern Province. We are seeing a lot of traffic in those small towns there’s a lot of congestion as well. Particularly those taking people from CBDs but in terms of accidents we are grateful that we haven’t seen many accidents.”
