The eThekwini Fire Department in KwaZulu-Natal is yet to determine the extent of damage a fire has caused to the Jacobs industrial area in southern Durban.
The department’s Nkululeko Dube says the fire started last night and affected three companies.
He says they include car repair and ink manufacturing companies.
Chemicals are reported to be involved but there are no fatalities or injuries.
The cause of the fire has not yet been established.
