South Africa’s UFC World middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis has made a second successful defence of his title in a rematch with former champion, Sean Strickland of the United States.
Du Plessis who won the title with a split decision against Strickland in Toronto, Canada, in January last year, totally dominated his 33-year-old opponent in Sydney, Australia, this morning.
He won all five rounds according to two of the three judges and won comfortably by unanimous decision.
Du Plessis has also improved his winning streak to nine fights, the longest in middleweight history.
