One of the two suspects in the DJ Warras murder case is making his first appearance at the JhB Central Magistrate’s Court.
The case against a suspect arrested in connection with the murder of Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock has been postponed to January 6 for a bail application.
Police had initially arrested two suspects in connection with the murder of the broadcaster, who was gunned down in Johannesburg on December 16. However, only the suspect appeared in court on Wednesday.
The suspect, who claimed to have been assaulted by police and is seeking medical attention, will remain behind bars.
Case adjourned to the 6th of January 2026 for the start of formal bail proceedings. The accused remains behind bars. #sabcnews pic.twitter.com/RyTQCF6cax

His death left those who knew him in shock as they called for those behind his murder to face the full might of the law.
It is still unclear whether the arrested duo is part of those in the surveillance cameras; however, police say the search for more suspects is underway.
