DJ Warras’ family appeals for privacy after his death

The family of the late DJ Warras is calling for privacy following his tragic death. His sister, Nicole Stock, has appealed to the public to refrain from sharing any videos or images of the deceased, saying this is an incredibly difficult time, especially for Warras’s three sons, Ethan, Troy, and Kiyaan.

Warras, whose real name is Warrick Stock, was a well‑known radio and television personality in South Africa. Born in Durban in 1985, he built a prominent career in broadcasting, and remained a familiar voice and face across the entertainment industry. He was shot and killed in Johannesburg earlier on Tuesday, a loss that has sent shockwaves through the entertainment community and among his fans nationwide.

Nicole made this call to the public from the scene: ” People who are tweeting or posting videos, please, please I am pleading with all of you to remove them. He’s got three beautiful boys. If you can take that off, we don’t want that.”
