The Gauteng Department of Education has expressed concern, after a Deputy Principal at Dinoto Technical Secondary School in Daveyton in Ekurhuleni was shot while entering the school premises this morning.
The department has called on law enforcement to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to book.
The deputy principal is currently recovering from the hospital.
Department spokesperson Steve Mabona says exams managed to continue despite the ordeal.
