The death toll in a crash involving a delivery truck on the R518 Mosesetjane-Marken road outside Mokopane in Limpopo has risen to nine.
Police have confirmed that two people including a child succumbed to injuries after being hospitalised following the crash which happened on Christmas Eve.
Seven people died on the scene. One of the bodies was washed down a stream after the vehicle hit a bridge barrier.
