Deadline looms for public input on constitutional changes

The deadline for the public to make submissions to the Joint Constitutional Review Committee is coming to a close today.

The annual review by the committee is aimed at assessing public submissions on potential amendments to the Constitution. So far, the committee has received over 200 submissions.

The committee is composed of members from the National Assembly and the National Council of Provinces who make recommendations to both houses of Parliament in line with the will of the public.
