The Democratic Alliance (DA) in Gauteng plans to picket outside Premier Panyaza Lesufi’s office on Thursday.
They are demanding that criminal charges be laid against those implicated in the looting of R2 billion from the Tembisa Hospital.
The Special Investigating Unit (SIU) uncovered three syndicates responsible for the looting of funds meant for healthcare.

DA Gauteng Spokesperson on Health Jack Bloom they are seeking a speedy process to sell off the seized assets so that the money goes back to the Gauteng Health Department.
“So, we have a list of demands, and the DA is going to be very adamant that Premier Lesufi make sure that we get back the money and that all people are held fully accountable for the massive looting at the Tembisa Hospital while patients suffer,” says Bloom.
