Cape Town International Airport has once again been named the Best Airport in Africa at the 2026 Skytrax World Airport Awards held in London, United Kingdom.
This is the 11th consecutive year that the airport has scooped top honours at the awards.
Several other airports across South Africa also received awards.
O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg ranked second best on the continent, while King Shaka International Airport in Durban placed fourth and also featured among the top regional airports in Africa.
The Airports Company of South Africa (ACSA) says the recognition reflects the dedication of its staff and its ongoing efforts to deliver safe, efficient and seamless travel experiences.
