The Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court has postponed the case against a 36-year-old man whom police believe to be the mastermind behind the mass shooting incident in Westbury on October 21st.
The accused is the second suspect arrested in connection with the mass shooting incident.

He was arrested last Friday following a shooting that left two teenagers dead and five others injured.
A 20-year-old suspect was arrested by the anti-gang unit in Soweto on Wednesday last week after writing his matric exam.
He appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s court on Friday last week where his case was postponed to 6 November 2025 for a formal bail application.

One of the teenagers who was also shot during the incident and has now been discharged from the hospital.
