The inclement weather is expected to clear up for the next two days following heavy downpours in the Cape Metro this past week.
The rain is expected to make landfall again late on Tuesday night until Wednesday.

Thousands of residents across the Western Cape have been affected by the cold and stormy weather.
The Disaster Risk Management Centre and its Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) partners have activated relief efforts to affected communities.
